MEMORIAL WEEKEND EVENTS
POST 115 WILL PLACE FLAGS AT ESPANOLA CEMETERY
9:00 - 10:00 AM SATURDAY, MAY 26, 2018
Come help American Legion Post 115 put U.S. flags on veteran graves at Espanola Cemetery, and hold a short ceremony; meet Randy Morris and Charlie Hayes just inside the entrance of the cemetery.
Directions: Just north of Hwy 1 overpass in Bunnell, turn west onto County Road 13. When you have to turn after about 3 miles, turn left onto Hwy 205 and follow 205 for 1 more mile. Cemetery gates are on the left.
MEMORIAL DAY EVENTS MONDAY, MAY 28, 2018
Ceremony at Hero’s Park, 2860 Palm Coast Pkwy NW, Palm Coast, FL 32137. Guest speakers and participants will include designated Legionnaires. Wearing of AL hats is encouraged.
Ceremony at Flagler County Government Services Building, 1769 E Moody Blvd # 2, Bunnell, FL 32110. Guest speaker is American Legion Department Commander Steve Shuga. Honored veteran will be Legionnaire Ray Mercer, WWII Silver Star recipient. Participants will include designated Legionnaires. Fly over, JROTC color guard, honorary guests… don’t miss it. Wearing of AL hats is encouraged.
Ceremony at Veterans Park, Flagler Beach. Generally, a short and more casual ceremony.
